FACTORY OVERVIEW

Workshop Overview

We run a 24-hour operation and have done so for the past 18 years. We own and maintain13 CNC turning centres, maximum of 1525mm between centres, and 650mm diameter. Our complete plant enables us to manage all manufacturing processes in-house including CNC Grinding / CNC Milling /CNC Turning, Conventional Turning, Milling, Fabrication, Specialized Welding etc.

mACHINERY

We also have a CNC Vertical Lathe, with a capacity of 850mm turning dia, 900mm turning height, 37/45kw motor (gearbox), 3 (three) BT 50 Machining Centres, with a maximum table length of 1700mm, as well as 2 HORIZONTAL Machining Centres with double swing pallets and 60 tool magazines. We also have a CNC double spindle deep hole drilling machine and a broaching machine with a 1400mm stroke. All the above are supported by an inspection department.

QUALITY CONTROL

All components are thoroughly checked and a 100% inspection is carried out on all products to ensure a consistent supply of NASA quality

ENGINEERING DESIGN

We pride ourselves on continuous ongoing research and development for the betterment of the drilling and mining Industry

ASSEMBLY AND TESTING

Our extremely sophisticated test bench, indicates thrust, air consumption, noise level, air flow and RPM to ensure all conditions of the mining charter are met.

WAREHOUSE AND DISPATCH

NASA always has a large and good mix of stock in holding to satisfy our customers needs. Our policy to produce “for stock” instead of just “for order” ensures stock is readily available.
